Season 1 – Episode 9: Empire State Of Mind (Life Update)
Updated: Jun 3, 2022
Hello All,
I hope you all are well! It has been a crazy few months for me hence why this is the first blog post in a very long time. I’m sure you are wondering what I have been up to in order to be so “busy”
I am currently revamping everything with the blog and creating a website that will have everything that will rang from fashion, lifestyle and travel. I am also revamping every single thing social media that I am or the blog is connected to. I am changing myself even as a brand. I am also brainstorming a new name for the blog and the new website. (Another detailed post will come soon about the switch)
Also Remember that one time I got a new job? Well I just recently got promoted to a new position which requires a little bit more of my time then usual.
Currently I am working on myself, physically and mentally. These past few weeks have really opened my eyes to some things that I just don’t like about myself. You know what they say if you don’t like something change it, and thats what I’m doing! I’m changing my spirit, the way I think, what I say, the company I keep, the way and how I do things. Over all changing anything negative that is around me and making it positive!
Finally I have officially decided to go to graduate school! Yay more homework! (Insert eye roll here) No but seriously it’s going to be tough but well worth it. This is the main reason I was in New York this past week. I was there to not only find a place to live but to find a school that would suit me. You all know me I’m a pro at procrastinating and I ended up not even apartment hunting because I was enjoying my time visiting old friends and having a ball. If you have never been to New York City I highly recommend that you go. I mean get up and go today what are you waiting for? Grab A plane ticket and go! Ok I’ll stop being pushy but I feel that everyone should at least go once or twice, ok . . . maybe three times in their lifetime if they can. It’s the most amazing city with grade A food and shopping. Theres always something to do and lets not forget the people that make the city wonderful. It was not my first time being in New York City but some reason it felt like it was, It was magical, beautiful and it gave me that feeling of belonging it was a feeling I didn’t realize I was looking for until I found it!
Until next time.
XOXO
Teri Michele
