Hello Lovlies, Happy New Year! We made it through the crap that was 2020!
This is the first post of 2021!
I thought it would be super fun to share with you guys the brands that have extended their sizes, or just brands you never knew carried plus size clothing. Let's start off with American Eagle......
American Eagle - Ok this might not come as a shock to some of you, but American eagle has some of the best jeans for us plus size babes. They are stretchy and last a long time depending on how much you wear them. They have so many different denim washes and textures to choose from. From ripped dark denim to flare light wash I don’t think you will disappointed with what you choose. Their jeans go from a 00 - 24
P.S if your thighs save lives... be careful of the inner thigh chafting after a while the inside wears a bit in their jeans a bit quicker.
Gucci - This might come as a surprise, but some gucci clothes go up to a xxl and when I was browsing the website my first thought was... since when? When I was browsing I noticed it was mainly swimwear, cardigans and track suits. So if you into those types of things then I would recommend checking out gucci. As well if you don’t like some of the selections check out the men’s section, their clothes tend to run bigger and your might like some of their items.
Nasty Gal - I was SHOCKED y’all and I mean SHOCKED when I saw they sell plus size clothes now. I think they are bit overpriced for some pretty basic items. However the last month from what I have seen everything is on SALE! But non the less us plus size babes have a new spot to get cute stuff from now.
MMLafeur - A brand that I have seen from time to time on instagram. They are a workwear brand that just extended their size range to a size 3xl. So if you need new work clothes, or just looking for a new brand to try... check them out.
MadeWell - Disclaimer, I have never shopped at MadeWell before. I have seen the brand around and I know plenty of people love there items. I thought it would be great to feature a place I haven’t been to that I know some of my readers probably shop at. They have a specific plus size section that is a size 14 - 20. I mean it's not a huge range which I think they should change but at least they have some basic pieces that we can snag.
Jacquemus - So I was browsing on the website and just happen to see what the size range was and when I saw sizes 12- 18 (18 on some items) I almost fell out of my chair with excitement. I was so happy because I have always wanted a Jacquemus clothing piece other than the accessories (bag, shoes, & hats) so if you get a chance check out Jacquemus its a brand I think you all will like.
I hope you all enjoyed this list of unexpected places you didn’t know sold plus size clothing.
If you don’t already follow up on Instagram @terimichele
