Season 7 - Episode 7: A Vacation During A Pandemic

Updated: Jun 13, 2022

Hello Lovelies

Now by the title you know I went on a vacation, but it wasn't a "normal" vacation where I stayed at a resort or hotel. I actually went on a camping and hiking trip. I know right? Me go camping? If someone would have told me this years ago I would have looked at them and laughed because if you know me personally or follow me on social media you know I HATE, and I mean HATE bugs! the ones with 4 legs, the ones with 10 legs etc, I just hate them and I mean all of them. But It wasn't that bad because me and my friend found a spot to camp that didn't have too many bugs. Wait let me back up to the start of the trip...

Then from Bryce we drove down to Zion which was only about a 3 hour w ish drive if im not mistaken. When we arrived I almost cried it was too beautiful (just an fyi I am definitely one of those people that cry when I feel intense emotions). It was BEYOND beautiful. As we found a camping spot there were so many surrounding animals mainly cows but they were beautiful non the less. We also saw some buffalo while driving down and were bigger than what I thought they would be. t, I mean there were people there but it was sporadic from time to time and it was never more than 10 people in one spot I noticed.

Traveling during the pandemic has definitely been different but not bad. We just mad sure to keep our masks on even though others didn't, follow the rules of restaurants and we stayed away from big crowds which is why we chose to go hiking. The timing also was perfect because the day before I left for Vegas I got vaccinated... lets just say the first few days of my trip were... yea never mind lol.

From hiking Zion we drove back to Vegas and I did a bit of shopping and ate some food. (I don't remember the restaurant names.. sorry) Las Vegas is beautiful and fun and it has a lot of life and things to do. I know this post is a bit short but I wanted to put it up just to show how much fun the trip was. If you ever get a chance definitely go down to Vegas and drive to a national park there are so many that are near Vegas, Trust me you won't be disappointed.

XOXO

Teri Michele
